Darts Counter is a fully offline, client-side application. It does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data with us or any third party. All match data, player profiles, statistics, and settings stay on your device.

Data we collect

We collect nothing.

The app does not use accounts, sign-in, telemetry, analytics, advertising IDs, crash reporting, or any other mechanism that would send information to us or a third party.

Data the app stores locally on your device

The app stores the following data only on your device, inside the browser/app's IndexedDB storage:

Player profiles you create (nicknames, avatar colors, optional notes)
Match history (game results, scores, dart-level history)
Tournament data (brackets, results)
App settings (theme, sound preferences, language, voice toggles)

This data never leaves your device. It is not transmitted, synced, or backed up to any server.

You can delete all stored data at any time via Settings → Reset within the app, or by uninstalling the app, or by clearing the app's storage from your device's system settings.

Permissions the app requests

The app may request the following Android/iOS permissions:

Storage / Files: only to enable the local IndexedDB database used for match history. No file system browsing.
Audio output: to play in-app sound effects (sound effects when hitting 180, match-end fanfare, etc.). No microphone or recording access.

The app does not request: contacts, location, camera, microphone, network/internet access for data transfer, or any other sensitive permission.

Network usage

The app loads its assets (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, fonts, audio files) once over the internet when first installed or updated. After that, the app runs fully offline and does not make any further network requests.

Specifically, the app:

Does not call any backend server we control.
Does not call any third-party API.
Does not load advertising.
Does not load analytics or tracking scripts.

Web fonts (Google Fonts) are cached on first load and served from your device thereafter. No identifying information is sent in those font requests beyond your standard browser/OS metadata, which Google Fonts may log per its own privacy policy.

Children's privacy

Darts Counter does not collect any personal data from any user, including children. The app is rated for general audiences and is suitable for users of all ages.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change this policy (for example, in a future version that adds optional cloud sync), the updated version will be published at this URL with a new "Last updated" date. Significant changes will also be announced in the app's release notes.

You will always be informed before any new data-collection feature is enabled. By default, the app remains offline-only.
